The best sources of employer lists are:
- Washington Business Journal's
annual
Book of Lists is released every December and available at
major libraries or large bookstores. It's also available online
for $50 for purchase.

Washington Post 200 including public and private
companies. This is published every spring around May.
These two publications provide lists
of the largest organizations such as the biggest corporations,
accounting firms, universities and colleges, banks, home builders,
advertising firms, restaurants, executive search firms, and more.
